Processing of valonea cups:
The production plant which is located in Salihli, is designed for specialized production of highest quality stated in valonia extract. The total capacity of the plant is 25,200 tons per annum(assuming three shift) in terms of raw material.There are no additives and or chemicals used during valex production.
Extraction
Acorn cups are collected, dried and stored in the warehouse. The valonea is crushed and ground/It is then treated with 85C hot water for leaching in series of extractors. The tanning solution is transferred to evaporators and boiled under vacuum. The concentrated solution is filtered and sent to spray drying unit. The powdered extract is milled and put into the bags
